Love of nature, imagination and experiences, a deep need and desire to express myself from my essence; these are the important influences in my work. Inspiration touches me when I'm sitting in a room with my eyes closed, backpacking in the wilderness or traveling in some faraway country. Music plays a major role in my work. It is a form of meditation and serves as a door to my creativity, allowing me to be in the present and in tune with what I am seeing and feeling.
